Romans 1:28-29 KJV

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind to do those things, which are not convenient, being  filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness, full of evil, murder, strife, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

Romans 1:28-29 New Living Translation

When they refused to acknowledge God, He abandoned them to their evil minds and let them do things that should never be done. Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, fighting, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip.

Have you experienced God’s sweet forgiveness?

Does Jesus dwell in your heart?

If not, God is all too willing to forgive your sins, if you are willing to turn away from your life of sin, and allow Jesus to come into your heart.

We know this by what we read in John 3:16 which says, For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.

At this point we are adopted into the family of God, we read in

Ephesians 1:4-6 KJV According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love. Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will. To the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the beloved,

He hath made us acceptable in the beloved” The beloved is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus freely gave His life that we might have life and have it more abundantly. As we see in John 10:10, …I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Romans 8:16, 17 KJV

The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with Him, that we may be also glorified together.

Now, we know from Romans 1:29 that God will wash His hands of us by, giving us over to a reprobate mind to do those things which are not convenient; Being  filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness, full of envy, murder, debate, deceit and malignity; So, if we continue in our sin being fully aware of our wrong doing. Not asking forgiveness nor repenting of our sins, “that is to turn from our sin” as well as asking God for the strength to not continue in the sin for which we have repented.

Now then, let’s say I have a dog, “Fido” and the only way that Fido is able eat, is to eat from my hand, “now, Fido depends on me “ his master” for his well being” that’s all good unless Fido bites my hand every time I feed him. After awhile, I’m not going to be so inclined to feed him as I once was.

Just as Fido depends on me, we believers, depend on our Heavenly Father for our well being. So, if we continue to sin against our Master. We too, are biting the hand that feeds us. Some may say, I worked for my money, I paid for my food, no one feeds me I feed myself. But, whatever job we work, God either placed us in that job or He allowed us to have the job. Either way we wouldn’t have a job if not for Him, so, if the money we earn comes from God, then so does the food we buy with it. Ultimately, God owns it all.

Deuteronomy 10:14, New Living Translation. The highest heavens and the earth and everything in it all belong to the Lord your God.

Psalm 24:1 says, the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

1 Corinthians 10:26 for the earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof,

Now, if we continue in our sin, eventually God will turn us “the believer” over to a reprobate mind as well. 2 Thessalonians 1:8 & 9 talks about …the vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of His power.

If you have ever felt the presence of God’s Spirit, Then you know you don’t want to go through eternity without the presence of the Holy Spirit.

Therefore, we need to check ourselves daily, but we need also to ask God to reveal any unforgiveness in our lives.
