Who is this man the Pharisees called “The King of the Jews”,
come to Calvary to save me and you.
Born in a stable is what I’ve been told,
died on a cross, so the story goes.
Came to earth from Heaven above,
sent by the Father to bring hope and love.
To tell the world, for unto all nations,
the plan of peace, the plan of salvation.
For long ago when God created the earth,
with a cloud of dust came a miraculous birth.
Man was made and placed upon God’s creation,
but temptation arose with it’s sinful sensation.
Sin had began & evil was made known,
across the land, it grew as if it were sewn.
Wickedness was the harvest now at man’s feet
punishment from God, each soul would reap.
Throughout the land was corruption and sin
the devil was battling and thought he might win.
Putting blasphemy on the tongue and lust in man’s heart
he connived as tore Father and children apart..
Liars and whoremongers, drunkards and thieves,
pride and adultery, hatred and greed.
As people learned of these acts, satan began to anticipate
those that would fall victim, waiting for them to participate.
The Father looked down upon His Creation,
with a heavy heart, sorrow and frustration.
Angry at His children He created and put on earth,
He decided to give them another chance, to give them a rebirth.
God gave a gift greater than any will ever know,
He sent His son to the darken world below.
To save the souls of His beloved children,
so they may live with Him in Heaven.
For thirty-three years, The Son walked the earth,
describing the plan & performing His works.
Countless miracles and numerous resurrections
all a part of God’s great intervention.
Betrayed, beaten & thrown into prison,
He was mocked, crucified, buried and risen.
Through pain and anguish He suffered and died,
so that you and & may have eternal life.
He came, He died, He arose, He gave life,
He came with holiness to take away pain and strife.
He came for you, He came for me, He came for all to see
There is miraculous life for those that choose to believe.
So who is this man, called “King of the Jews”,
came from Heaven to save me and you
The Prince of Peace, Son of God, Giver of Life,
Messiah, The Lamb of God, Holy One, Jesus Christ.
