Have you ever had one of those nights when you just couldn’t sleep? Well, I had one of those nights, when “Pray Ye One For Another,” came about, as a news paper article, nine years ago. The Lord woke me from my sleep three times on a Sunday night, with a vision of a prayer list in a newspaper. I thought that was rather strange for a couple of reasons. (1) Who in the world would print a prayer list in a newspaper? But that was a question that didn’t take long for God to answer. (2) Why on earth would God use me for anything? He knew where I came from, but at the same time it was God that brought me out of that life. Anyway, that Monday morning my wife (Patty) and I got to work on a prayer list, came up with the name “Pray Ye One For Another”, and got busy calling around to different newspapers. We reached the South Knox-Seymour Times, and the Knoxville – Knox County Focus, both in Knoxville TN. We also found the Tennessee Star Journal in Pigeon Forge TN willing to print the list. All three papers have been printing the list on a weekly basis since that time. We’ve had many prayer request come in and have seen numerous lives changed through the faithful payers of the many Godly men and women that have joined us in prayer for those on the list. Just about three years ago, we decided to try to reach more people with the power of prayer. Soon after that, PrayYeOneForAnother.org was born. We are receiving prayer request from the site and are currently seeking more Godly men and women that are willing to devote some time each week to pray for those that come to us for prayer.
